live from nowhere
I've been intrigued by abandoned spaces for as long as I can remember and one day in 2015, a photographer friend of mine took me out to an abandoned hospital. I brought my guitar, a flashlight and my phone to record some music in a few of the spaces. A couple years later, video producer, Emily Graham-Handley, and I founded a live performance series of MA-based musicians performing in abandoned spaces all over the Bay State. We recorded bands in an abandoned theater, brewery and prison camp as well as singer/songwriters performing in an abandoned bear cage and balancing on an out-of-service railroad bridge. Every shoot is a one-of-a-kind adventure.
